About Us
Our Story
We are two passionate individuals, bound by a love of flowers and a desire to create a shared project. Five years ago, floriculture came to us almost by chance, even though our backgrounds were more in food. We quickly realized that growing local and seasonal flowers could become much more than a hobby: a true life project.
Our flower farm in Outaouais was born from this desire to combine work and family, with our five children by our side. Here, every bouquet tells a story and every flower is grown with care. As the seasons pass, life shows us that every stage has its beauty and importance.
A little more about Ariane
Cooking has always held a significant place in her life. After a 10-year career as a pastry chef, motherhood and a severe ulcerative colitis diagnosis led her to slow down and re-evaluate her priorities.
Co-founder of Vert Sauge flower farm, Ariane has made the farm her space to balance work and family, express her creativity, and be fully present for her children. Her organizational skills, gentleness, and attention to detail make her a pillar of the farm.
She passionately grows local and seasonal flowers on our flower farm in Outaouais, creating unique cut flower bouquets that reflect care, beauty, and authenticity, while staying true to her dream of combining family and floriculture.
A little more about Amélie
Visionary and resourceful, Amélie is a creator at heart, always driven by new ideas and guided by her intuition. Co-founder of Vert Sauge, she is a passionate flame who tackles challenges with heart and determination.
A graduate with a bachelor's degree in nutrition sciences from the University of Ottawa, she has always been fascinated by cooking, gardening, and nature, passions that naturally led her to floriculture. A dedicated mother, she chose to slow down to be fully present for her children, while building a project that respects her pace and values.
At our flower farm in Outaouais, Amélie carefully grows local and seasonal flowers, creating unique and inspiring cut flower bouquets. Her initiative, endurance, and creativity are essential strengths that make Vert Sauge shine daily.
